The government of Canada is considering 19 green energy projects and earmarking 146 million Canadian dollars. Each project can receive between 2.5 and 20 million dollars each out of the Canadian dollar Clean Energy Fund.
Focusing on the development and demonstration of community energy solutions, smart grid technology and renewable resources of solar, wind, tidal and geothermal energy.
Logistics and 3PL executives are missing an opportunity here to obtain government support and should be in the line up. Unfortunately, only the really large logistics providers have people who are employed in Green Supply Chain Management policies and actually this type of personnel are rarely found in Canada.
